Sean Conner
Executive Director of the International Peace Bureau (recipient of the 1910 Nobel Peace Prize)
Appointed in 2022, with a background in intercultural education and community development, he leads from the IPB an agenda of dialogue, disarmament and international cooperation. He advocates for intersectional alliances and the strengthening of civil society, promoting negotiated solutions to armed conflicts and wars.
Raffaella Bolini
Peace activist, vice president of the Italian Recreational and Cultural Association (ARCI) and a driving force behind the Stop Rearm Europe campaign.
A historic voice of pacifism in Italy and Europe, she weaves alliances among peace, anti-racist and solidarity movements. A critical voice against European militarisation, she advocates for a Europe grounded in solidarity, justice and demilitarisation.
Laëtitia Sédou
Project Manager at the European Network Against Arms Trade (ENAAT)
Since 2016 she has coordinated ENAAT’s European programme, a network of peace movements from fourteen countries, analysing EU militarisation and the impact of subsidies to the arms industry. With experience at OMCT and in institutional transparency, she provides rigorous analysis on defence, democracy and human security.
Sanam Naraghi-Anderlini
Founder and Executive Director of ICAN, a global reference in women, peace and security.
With three decades of experience as a peace strategist, she leads from ICAN the Women’s Alliance for Security Leadership (WASL), active in over 40 countries, and the Innovative Peace Fund. Co-author of UN Security Council Resolution 1325, she was the first Senior Gender and Inclusion Expert in UN mediation. Recipient of the MBE.
Antonella di Matteo (Moderator)
Centre Delàs d’Estudis per la Pau
Holds a degree in International Relations and master’s degrees in Human Rights and Cooperation, and in Gender Studies from the Università degli Studi di Macerata (Italy). She is currently a project officer at the Centre Delàs d’Estudis per la Pau. Her work focuses on Peace Education and Erasmus+ projects in the Mediterranean region, facilitating groups and promoting non-formal education for empowerment and critical thinking.
